About This Blog and Me

The WOW Debutante is a blog featuring posts about hosting and helping with guild events in the World of Warcraft.  There will occasionally be other game-related posts, but count on the main focus being my imaginary social life as Chatmay, 85 warlock on The World of Warcraft!

As far as my bio, I am a WOW addict since 2004, stay at home mom since 2007.  I am a guild-leader on Terokkar server, and I have played on several other servers (RPPVP, RP, and PVE).  I am group owner of WOW Moms Forums on Cafemom.com.  I have a good bit of writing experience, both professionally and before that in school.

I decided to make this blog because I felt there is not enough information outside of the Blizzard website about hosting guild events and RP events.  Hopefully, someone will find the information here useful!

  1. Nice site. I am also a WOW player but I’ve never really tried RP. Good luck in Azeroth!

  2. Hey, just came across your site. Good to see people enjoying the game so much still instead of complaining like most. Not a rp guy myself and this isnt a transmog site I wanted for headbands but nicely done and fun to read. Thought id let ya know I enjoyed reading as I passed through. Keep it up!

  3. Hey! I love your site! I was made an officer in my guild in charge of events coordination and I’ve used ideas from here to play my own guild events. I’d just like to say thaaaaank yooooou! My guild parties would be pretty lame if I didn’t have any outside inspiration.

I’d also like to let you know I started my own blog recently and I put a link to you up there.

  4. Hey this site is pretty great. I like your banner image, but it looks better than a normal screen shot. How did you get it? Was it edited in photoshop? I like the style a lot.

  5. I have been reading your site a couple days, and I am so excited. I just became the GM of our guild on Monday (5 days ago) and have hit the jackpot in your blog for guild activities. Thank you so much for writing your blog. :)

I hope you keep posting, as your last blog was a few months ago. More to come, I am sure!
